Travels with my Aunt

When you're at your mother's funeral and your Aunt descends like a typhoon and reveals that your mother wasn't really your mother after all, you know an already-dreadful day is only going to get worse.

And when the aforementioned Aunt then proceeds to throw your happily mundane life into complete and utter turmoil, dragging you across three continents and exposing you to danger, intrigue and not a little romance, something's got to give.

Hasn't it?
