A Word about Choreography

Interesting exercise, choreographing a large number of adults to dance as hens, geese, ducks, cats and froglets (that's tadpoles to you!) There are some general rules to begin with - stick your elbows out, turn your knees in, stick your butt out and aim for general ungainliness. You then have to invent all sorts of previously non-existent dance moves (and think of names for them) that will incorporate grace, wings, rhythm, claws, style, webbed feet and frogs legs.

Try the Chicken Charleston. Or Poultry Aerobics meets Fame. The Cat's Claws Passadoble? Or perhaps Art Deco Meets Frog at C&A.

Finally, convince your cast that (a) it's going to work, (b) they don't look stupid and (c) if they DO look stupid, it's only because they're meant to! It's been the best fun choreographing this particular show and we hope you enjoy watching it. For added viewing fun tonight, why not see if you can spot some of these purpose-built feats of choreography, which were named, and taught to the cast as, the following:-

Anything you can't spot, please feel free not to ask for a demonstration in the bar after the show!

Caz and Jonathan

And we didn’t even mention ... Suppertime Chickens, Cleaning Windows, Funky Chickens, the Monkees Chicken Walk, G Force, Duck Hand Shadow Puppets and Birdie Song Duckling Bottoms.
