When The Wind Blows
Overview
Jim and Hilda Bloggs, a retired couple, have moved to an isolated country cottage in the South-East of England. They are decent, house-proud and behind the times.
Jim hears on the radio that a pre-emptive strike is to be expected. With his Government leaflets as his guide, he constructs a refuge for them both and gathers together emergency rations.
Jim and Hilda emerge after the Bomb to find a devastated post-nuclear holocaust world. Expecting the Powers-That-Be to rescue them, they wait.
